Shiho Hayashi

This contemporary work’s appeal lies in its presence which reminds the viewer of a sculpture. At first glance, the simple form leaves an impression, but taking a closer look, you will find yourself fascinated by the texture of the surface that gives the appearance depth with the lighting and shadows, as well as the silent black representations that the artist obsessed over.
