There is one simple glass cup there. At first glance, it doesn’t seem strange. However, if you use it, you will be convinced. Her works has a soft and beautiful tranquility unique to hand-blown glass. The sleek size and thickness, and the comfortable weight captivate us like no other with the feeling of it being “qualia – just right.” Many of her works, now called “classics,” have been made every day for many years and are still being refined. At first glance, the design is sober and inconspicuous, but it brings quiet and comfort to your life. A glass-cup can make simply waking up in the morning and drinking a glass of water beautiful. Isn’t it a very Japanese way of thinking? In this exhibition, we looked back on our classic products which have been in creation since the workshop was established, and redesigned some of the details. We will show you variations of the old classics.
